Meet Jessicka
Jessicka Spearman is a proud Anderson County native with a heart devoted to her community. A graduate from Palmetto High School, she then went on to graduate with a degree in Human Services and Resources from Anderson University. Driven by her passion for mental health advocacy, Jessicka pursued further education at Webster University, obtaining a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. Her expertise in the field led her to specialize in early childhood trauma, where she now serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), offering vital support to those in need.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Jessicka is a pillar of strength and support as the wife of Eric Childs, a courageous combat veteran, and the loving mother of four teenagers. Family is the cornerstone of her life, and she channels her compassion and dedication into nurturing their growth and well-being.
Inspired by her experiences and the needs of her community, Jessicka has emerged as a passionate advocate for public education and the preservation of intellectual freedom through public libraries. As the founding president of PFLAG Anderson, she champions equality and acceptance for all, leaving an indelible mark on her hometown.
